Anne was originally names Corrinne, and looked like this:
As evidenced by the giant 'X' that I've drawn through this, it was not a design that worked for me at all.  Also, I was enver sure how the name 'Corrinne' was spelled.  Also, Anne was originally going to be very Irish.  She was going to have flame colored orangey-red hair, wear the kind of thick wool sweaters that girls in Ireland wear, etc. etc. etc.  This was, of course, based entirely on my male fascination with redheads.  I think they're cute.  Before anyone assumes I've got a major fetish for carrot-tops, there's a million and one types of girl that I find attractive in addition to Irish reheads.  A complete list of behaviors and physical features that I find attractive would probably break this server, and be the singularly largest text file on the internet.

It's still not quite right.  Her first appearance in the comic is brief in the beginning of chapter 1, but is expanded in chapter 3. Her first appearance is pretty close to this, but by chapter 3 I'd made her hair a little more fun and changed the style of her clothes away from this kinda morbid all black powersuit sorta thing.
