Melora:
Melora is named after Melora Creager,
from the band 'Rasputina'. If you don't listen to Rasputina, you should.
Anyway, she is named Melora because of Rasputina, and also because
the phrase "Voodoo Melora" rolls off the tongue so pleasantly. I nailed
her design on the first go, and am still quite happy with it. I considered
writing her with a real 'southern states voodoo preistess' kinda dialect,
but it would have been a pain in the ass to maintain. However, it's
only a matter of time before my writing for her makes it clear how little
I really know about voodoo.
